From our first meeting, Kimberly & Tanner made it very clear that this wedding is going to be a party and they did not disappoint!!
So many fun and outgoing guests, hilarious members in the wedding party, and so unique to the two of them. From the outdoor portraits with their wedding party to the beautifully styled details inside, every part of their day reflected their personalities perfectly!! The best weddings not only feature a combination of both partners interests and personalities, but it also highlights what the couple truly values. For the Gjerstad wedding, that was ensuring that everyone had a great time and that it was celebration first and foremost and we loved every minute of it!
One of our favorite things to document is that balance between the big, emotional moments and the quiet in between ones. This day gave us so many of both!! The color palette, the atmosphere, and the genuine joy surrounding them made every portrait even more heartfelt. It was incredibly hard going through their album to find the best portraits because so many of them contained genuine emotions and displays of affection. I always tell clients to never leave the other person’s side and initiate moments throughout the day so that we can capture them and Kimmy & Tanner did just that!
