From the moment we first met Courtney & Jack, it was so clear that these two were going to be such a fun couple looking to create an extremely fun and unique wedding experience for everyone! They are both so easygoing, fun-loving, and so enjoyable to be around and their wedding day at Discovery World was absolutely perfect from beginning to end!!
We started the morning at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown before heading to Milwaukee Public Library for their first look and bride & groom portraits. The Milwaukee Public Library provides such a gorgeous backdrop for their first few moments together and absolutely loved shooting there! Once we got to Discovery World, we shot some family portraits outside and the sky was a beautiful, partly-cloudy sky that all photographers dream of! The lighting was absolutely perfect and everybody looked so amazing. The ceremony was held in the Pilot House of Discovery World which provided a ton of light to make shooting their ceremony a breeze!
Cocktail hour was one of the coolest experiences we’ve seen!!! Throughout Discovery World, guests got to explore the aquarium, check out the exhibits, and even pet the stingrays!! It was such a unique experience and so much fun to photograph everyone genuinely having the best time together!! The rest of the night was SO much fun with amazing food, fantastic speeches, an incredible DJ, and giant fatheads of their sweet dog Momba making an appearance on the dance floor!!
This wedding was especially meaningful for me because I got to be involved in so much more than just their photography. Courtney & Jack trusted me with their photography, videography, wedding invitation design, and even their rehearsal slideshow telling their story from when they were babies all the way to where they are today. Getting to be involved in so many different parts of their wedding journey was such a unique experience and I am incredibly grateful for the trust they placed in me!
Courtney & Jack, thank you so much for allowing us to be part of such an unforgettable celebration. We loved every minute of this day, would shoot it over and over again if we could, and are SO excited to share more!
