Boikano & Nate - 3/16/24

We recently had the privilege of capturing a truly unique and intimate wedding that perfectly encapsulated the essence of love and family. Nate and Boikano's wedding was a celebration of their love, held in the comfort of their own home against a sunset backdrop.

Boikano & Nate spent the evening conversing with their families and having a few drinks and many laughs! And for those that were not able to attend, they had this incredible idea to have pre-recorded messages shown after the ceremony. It was a truly beautiful blend of tradition and modernity that created a deeply personal and intimate atmosphere.

The couple's vision for their wedding was clear: an intimate affair with candlelight and a small group during the sunset. For those familiar with photography, low lighting can sometimes cause complications, but Boikano & Nate were smart and chose a photography style that would blend in perfectly with their wedding! They expressed a desire for a 'real' aesthetic, reminiscent of film, where moments are captured with a raw and authentic feel.

As photographers, we relished the opportunity to bring their vision to life, embracing the challenge of capturing the subtle nuances of emotion and movement. It was a delicate balance, navigating the fine line between intentional artistry and professional quality. We have so many amazing and unique shots to comb through that it took a while just narrowing them down!
